Up until the recent Superbowl, NOLA sports haven't had a very good run either.

95 is the only reason I still get as worked up as much over the Braves as I do Bama. I know it is possible for them to win so I haven't been beaten into acceptance of mediocrity.

They are. I lived in the same neighborhood as the old owner and used to work with several of the players. Not a "fan" but I have a lot of signed gear and made out with one of the players... (only cute one I remember, from CO but can't remember her name)
Worst part for the Hawks and Falcons especially is how much it sucks to be in this position. They'd be better to be highly variable rather than stuck in no-man's land like they are now.

I'm with you Braves fans. At least you guys have gotten to the playoffs consistently for a while now. Before 2010, the Reds hadn't gotten to the playoffs since '95, and hadn't won the World Series since '90. Now it looks like we will get there consistently for a while, but I really question whether we can win it.
