It’s interesting to me when respect for individual athletes occasionally transcends tribal loyalties. I felt the same way watching Acie Law play for the Aggies 20 years ago, loved watching that guy...

yeah, Johnny F'n Football was a lot of fun for me to watch.

OTOH, I still haven't displaced my dislike for this guy....Jared Mitchell.
In my mind's eye he's still robbing Texas of extra bases and hitting like a fiend.

4 of Purdue flopped and flailed all game and the refs rewarded him getting Matas in foul trouble. They grabbed our bigs and held and then gave fouls to OUR bigs. Then the most clear push to make space under the basket comes and the refs let it happen with no call lol. fricking joke. 4 extends his arms to push and clearly is a foul.

Terrible calls all night on Matas. If Matas is in the game we win by 7-10. 4 of Purdue is why Texas lost that game with his flopping and flailing. I hate that bs in the game there should be an ncaa rule for flopping and if there is they certainly don’t enforce it

You’re trying to too hard

I’m sorry your big brother just equaled the greatest aggie basketball season in history (on a down year no less)

Gotta be tough being an aggie

Utrans fans can’t handle the truth

light the tower! You almost won a sweet sixteen game with the refs helping you!

What do you expect Marge? You're the one exception, but the vast majority of aggies spend their lives telling the rest of us how great you are.

Very cultish BTW.

What is not even the best basketball season in the last 4 years for Texas would still be the greatest basketball season of all time for the aggies

Really says a lot

With the refs helping? Did you even watch the game. Take your maroon glasses off and tell me how the refs helped Texas?

Purdue is the dirtiest basketball team. I have seen play this year. So many hooks and holding rebounders of the opposing team.

IMHO, this run with Miller was like if a startup took some seed money and validated PMF and started to get some good traction.

NIL money is gonna see this sweet 16 and how we competed to the last second as a signal that big investments into Longhorn basketball isn’t just an emotional play (KD) but is good money. Especially with historic bluebloods struggling.

You’re still drunk. You’d have lost by 20 if the refs hadn’t have helped you keep it close

Name the plays the refs helped? You can’t because you’re lying and just throwing shite on the wall.

Texas wins if the refs call a clean game in the post

That angle doesn't show the back end of the Purdue player bumping him but I agree weak call for sure.

I could find significantly more from the Purdue side. Flopping, flailing, hooking grabbing, etc was atrocious and cost Texas the game.

That’s just pathetic

Your Cinderella season has ended and the refs tried to keep it going but failed

I have moved onto baseball season, but if you honestly watched that game and though Texas got all the calls you are delusional. BIG fans and other non partisan SEC fans in multiple game threads called out #4s flopping and the bs calls in the post. It was non stop.
