One of these is not like the other. Last time I checked Sumlin hasn't beaten LSU.

He was calling out LSU fans..So wouldn't you actually like threads like this?

Not being sarcastic. I love it when the LSU fans turn on each other

I've been laughing for the last 20 minutes catching up on all of these threads. I'm just as pumped about the hire as anyone, but some of our posters are making fools out of themselves.

Les Miles coached teams are always playing with fire. Most really good teams can say that 2-3 games could have gone either way in a given season. It seems like every year LSU plays about 5-6 games that come down to one or two plays. One day, it's going to catch up to them and a really talented, gifted team with top 5 talent is going to go 7-5 or so.

Look at this season, they were a couple plays away from 12-0 and several plays away from being 6-6. That's a scary variation for a great team.

The schedule is still easier than 2011 and we just had our biggest shakeup in the coaching staff since Crowton left.

It's a good day but I don't expect to go undefeated next season, that's ridiculous for any fan of any team to think.

I think it's fair to expect to go undefeated in you're Bama. They'll be favored in every game, most by at least 2 TDs, and it may be Saban's best tea ever.

People have been saying this for 7 years that Les' luck is going to run out, etc.

Its not luck if we keep on doing it.

have you seen some of the shite we've posted on this board today?

Who gives a frick what some people think. The majority have been fairly rational. It's not like everybody is claiming to have a top 10 offense next year. You're being a bitch over nothing

College football is cyclical. The introduction of the Aggies and Kevin Sumlin, and Nick Saban spells disaster for LSU. Things won't change until those coaches leave. Which could be a while.

Well, it did kinda catch up to him in '08 (Though that team wasnt that good in comparison to most of his squads) but I do think more than a few NCAA coaches would have won more than one title during his tenure with the talent he's had.

what caught up to him was being forced to start a 3rd and 4th string QB. we don't need a history lesson Aggie

just saying, IF we were to lose 2-3 games next year or something else doesn't go right and we fail once again to meet our goals due to offensive woes, I will look forward to the annual end of the season thread bumps.

And A&M was close to losing 5 games this year. Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech & Alabama came down to the wire. Ole Miss was driving on ya'll before Bo got picked, Tech came down to a failed 2 point conversion and Alabama came down to McCarrons pick in the endzone.
