UGA has a 90% 6-year graduation rate and a 37% acceptance rate. That’s better than Texas A&M on both counts.
Dude, I graduated from Texas A&M, and the reason Georgia has a higher graduation rate than Texas A&M is that A&M puts students through holy hell before you get a degree. I heard professors discussing how they were going to run students off.
Maybe that helps account for why the average starting salary for a Texas A&M graduate is greater than that for an UGA graduate.

It is very difficult to graduate from UGA. A&M is a diploma mill that lets in students that wouldn’t be competitive at UGA.

UGA has 37% acceptance rate because of the Zell. Georgia residents only pay room and board if admitted because of the lottery. You can go to Kennesaw for a year and transfer to UGA as long as you have a 3.0 and keep the Hope Scholarship no testing required.
The acceptance rate is very misleading.

I finished in 4 years. Are y’all lazy or just stupid?
It’s become the norm these days. Some kids transfer or change majors and that can set you back depending on what you switch from. The hardest thing for me was figuring out what I wanted to do in undergrad, and I didn’t want debt, so I took a bit longer. Got through school purely through a combo of scholarships and my own money, though! Just recently finished up grad school at Bama. Zero debt. Feels good at least.

That’s impressive and I bet it does feel good. You should be very proud of that!

45 years in the investment biz, when a resume came across my desk with a cfa designation, I usually threw it in the trash………
