Whats the melt gonna be like on here after Bama beats LSU for the NC?

What has you so confident your team can win? Saban is mediocre against Miles. He's also mediocre in bowl games. Care to look up Miles' bowl record? Your team will be outmanned, your fans outnumbered, and your coach out coached.

LSU 27
Bama 14 (I was tempted to make this 17 or 20 for a closer game, but I think it's pretty apparent to the nation Bama has no kicking game and Saban will be content to attempt those 40+ yarders again.)

If you're really serious about your question this is how it breaks down if LSU, Alabama and OSU win out:

OSU takes ALL of the #2 computer points
Alabama ALL of the #3 computer points

Ok St then needs to finish with at least 25% of the #2 human poll votes AND at least 75% of the #3 human poll votes.

It's that simple.

But what total Alabama homers avoid is that if Stanford and VT lose then that's a very real possibility.

However, what total LSU homers avoid is that history has shown that anytime there's any indecision votes tend to be split up. For example, it's doubtful that many west coast voters are going to jump Oklahoma St over Stanford on their ballots when both have fairly legitimate claims and Stanford needs votes to get an auto BCS bowl bid. So, the possibility that Oklahoma St gets all the #3 votes it needs is remote unless Stanford and VT lose.

Just so we are on the same page: the game in your home stadium your team lost? So you lost in your house and you think you are gonna coast to a W in the second one in a hostile dome?

You gumps crack me up.

Yep. I saw my team outplay yours with a few coaching mistakes that cost the game. You wont be so lucky the next time around.

Some of you dumbasses act like being at home made some HUGE difference in the game. But before the game, you were all pointing out how home advantage has meant nothing in this series. Which is it?

LSU wasn't lucky the first time, buddy. Our D had your O moving backwards when it needed yards and first downs the most. Try again.

If LSU lost at home, I would say let another team get a shot.

Yeah right. Ain't nobody believing that bs.

But Bama fans seem to think they are entitled to everything.

And LSU fans think they have a say in who they should play for a NC. It's not fair that we have to play the 2nd best team in the country.

Playing at home is one of those intangibles. Find a post where I said playing at home means nothing in the series.

I thought they are only behind Alabama in 2 of the 6 polls and the chances that a win over Oklahoma won't bump the up in at least one of those, which is all they need for a total #2 .960 score is remote?

I don't pretend to understand the BCS bullshite, but do you guys really think OSU is going to beat Oklahoma? Because they're not.

Ya, but you forget they dont play this week, so Bama will move ahead in the computers this week, and then back to where we are now in two weeks. If OSU had an extra game Id be a little worried.

You may be right. For me, it's kind of 50-50. Both teams are good but not great. That Oklahoma has already blown their BCS aspirations is certainly in their favor.

Not a soul in here knows what the hell would happen for any of these situations. We got people that think OSU will not jump a Stanford team that will be sitting at home watching Oregon claim its conference championship if it beats a top 10 rival to claim its conference. We got some thinking an average at best VA Tech is just going to win out against UVA and a Clemson team that already handled them in Blacksburg. And a bunch that think OSU cannot beat an OU team that will be toting out a passing defense ranked in the 90s against a top 5 passing offense in Stillwater. The only team that lock up shite this week is LSU with a win over Arkansas (barring a complete beatdown to UGA in the SECCG which still might not matter) since they would have strong computer numbers and stay ranked a head of Bama in the human poles at that point. So can the bitching just stop until at least Sunday?
