He had a midget throwing to him, he showed his elite talent last year I'm not even going to argue that with you.

Montrell Connor had a much better offer list than Brandon Bolden did out of Louisiana. I believe LSU may have even offered, just as a LB.

He transferred in from Moorehead St and Hargrave... not a signee

Only Josh Riddell, Eric Fuller, and Manuel Dickson were JUCOs.
You are making this too easy.

Why dont JUCO's count? Yall counted the DE and Safety you signed last year as 4* recruits. Whats the difference???

You are a reasonable chap NIH, but you guys are jimping pretty hard over this guy with 1 decent game (Ga Tech) last year. Yeah he caught a TD against Ole Miss blah blah blah.
Sure you have problems throwing the ball, but the production doesn't match the hype.
At least he's done more than Russell Shepard lolz

So do you think Ole Miss is a national power? C'mon, what are you getting at?
Posted on 7/24/10 at 8:50 pm to nittanydawg
Wasn't one the players you mentioned a kicker? The 5-star beast??
They don't count either
They don't count either

you underestimate how dreadful our QB situation was last year. it's not like State fans are the only ones high on Bumphis, so is the media, fellow fans, coaches, etc. He's a special talent.

I think he's arguing that State doesnt have a national presence and juco's shouldn't count because MS has one of the best if not the best JUCO base. So if you're a 4 star from Florida, but dont have the grades and go to a MS juco then the player is more aware of MSU then he was in HS when he had no idea who the frick they were. Im guessing that's the point he was trying to make

You're the dumbass who said we haven't had a 4 star out of state signee in the last 8-10 years.

As long as we can recruit kids from fellow SEC states and maybe a few Texas kids we'll be fine. Jackie didn't have teams full of ''national'' talent. The highest rated class of any team in Mississippi came in 2003 when Jackie signed the 9th best class in the nation with mostly MS kids with a few OOsers sprinkled in. (Spare me the cheating crap, this was during the NCAA probe)

I thought we were talking about State?
We'll see how "amazing" your 2009 class is in the next few years, until then we are just wasting time.
GL next season, MSU isn't the enemy to me
