As a guy who worked at a liqour store in Fayetteville while in college I will have to respectively disagree with you on that one.
Closing at 12 allowed me to still get out to the bars for 1-2 hours before they closed when I had to work weekend nights.

You think that's bad, Liquor stores here close at 9 on weekdays not named Friday, closed on sunday, and Alcohol can't be sold in stores past 11. No hard liquor in non liquor stores, no wine in non liquor in stores. Memphis sucks arse.

I lived at Buster Belly's when I was in college. We always stayed there way after closing. First place I visit whenever I make it back to Fayetteville these days.
