It’s not hate you see it’s concern that Petrino has built Arkansas into a serious, sustainable SEC contender in just three short years. If the Hogs weren’t a threat to supplant the a team or two at the SEC top then you would see very few threads trying to convince readers on here that Arkansas isn’t this, can’t do that, will never be able to (insert whatever you want) etc. It’s really no more complicated than that.

Check past Hog problems with the NCAA before you proclaim them pure. They have some good fans here.I don't mind their enthusiasm.It's irritating when they crow about their SWC feats.It's kind of like Hayneville moving into a 5A district in Texas and crowing about their championships in Louisiana.

Most of y'all let shite get under your skin a little to easy, especially you LSU folk. But I can understand why you're just a little edgy and irritable.
Most Hog fans are pretty good folk, as I think most LSU fans are. Enjoyed visiting with a few at Little Rock this past year.
However, be it known - when it comes to message board chatter, we can talk shite with the best of you.

are you Arkansas ignorant or ignorant about Arkansas? one puts the onus on you and the other is an adjective implying that Arkansas has a special kind of ignorance that warrants it's own name.

to be honest and objective, i agree with you. you guys are the "upstarts" with swagger that has not been warranted THUS FAR (although it appears to me that it will soon be warranted). the "big 6" fans ain't ready to let you guys sit at their table yet. boy, honesty sucks as i can't believe i uttered those words. being open-minded is often a curse.

Now there goes that little bit of 'misconception' again... We are not trying to 'join some club' or gain admittance to 'your table'. That is not our goal. We could care less about that. We just want to take care of our business, and beat everybody we play and win a NC. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just as I use Bama and LSU to gauge where we are as a program. Are we there yet? Maybe, maybe not, but regardless of what some others think we are closing the gap quickly. I’ve always believe that with the right coach Arkansas could consistently compete for the SEC Championship and I believe Petrino is that type of coach.
The bottom line is that in just three short years Petirno turned around a program in shambles, thanks to the arse Clown and his arse Clown Posse, and has the Hogs positioned for a run for an SEC Championship, another BCS Bowl Game and possible a National Championship if things go our way this year. Petrino has assembled more skill players, depth, and overall talent than I can ever remember on a Hog team and he recruits better and better players every year. Hog futures have never been higher.
