what you dont realize is the beating an SEC schedule puts on your team

And we're still willing to play your longhorns and y'all are afraid to continue the series. Bunch of p*ssies. Team full of 5 star recruits couldn't even sniff a bowl last year.

See, this is the problem with you OOC folks. It's not that so in so is this good of a team. It's playing decent teams week in and week out.

I'm not even gonna try and explain it, I let you go through two years of SEC play and see if you wanna play another big time game every year. I'm wondering if most of us keep our big OOC game (aka LSU-Oregon, Bama-Penn State, Auburn-Clemson, etc.)

wahhh wahhh, take it up with Slive you fricking pussies...

Everyone is benefiting...And guess what, I couldn't give two shits about the rivalry going on in that illiterate state of Alabama.

We owe you nothing. You're benefiting greatly from this move...If the neanderthals littering this board with unintelligible opinions had half the brains of Slive et al., you'd STFU with all this petulant whining regarding 4% of our student body and dry your fricking eyes.

You degenerates currently have better football programs...If you expect me or any self respecting Aggie to somehow concede that your football record entitles you to some kind of homage on behalf of Aggies, than you're more delusional than the posts on this thread.

Understand this: in your lifetime, your children's lifetime, and their children's lifetime, nothing coming from the collective plebeian minds in the state of Alabama will represent a scintilla of what our school and state offer.

We come in with an open mind. Whatever treatment you see from us will be reflective of what we see from you.

No I get it. But we still want to play them. It's fun to watch those emos cry in defeat.

Georgia/G Tech
USC/Clemson
Florida/FSU

Why can't we keep our old rivalry game? I don't give a shite if it's "tough".

We aren't saying you can't keep it. You are perfectly welcome to schedule Texas every year, but enjoy.

Our argument, is that the way things are shaping up, our rivalries are looking to get screwed up by scheduling problems out of our control.

Really, wtf am I benefiting from? please explain it to me oh wise and powerful big 12 fan that has been pissed on by big brother for 20 years.

We aren't benefiting, we are adapting and surviving due to the total collapse of your conference due to folks like A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, etc, sucking UT's balls until they got so big you decided to get out of the way before they exploded.

You are insufferable...I suppose Slive and every single SEC prez thought that adding A&M was for shits and giggles, huh? Ya, that's it...the most powerful officials of the most lucrative conference enjoy fricking with you.

You're not this dumb.

You have yet to answer the question. What are we, the fans, benefiting from this?

Slive and the presidents wanted more money, thats great.

Nothing about this is benefiting us fans.

Your school will make more money. Hell, Saban seemed to be a fan of the move in a little interview I saw a week or two ago when asked about it...probably bc he thinks it will open recruiting doors further into the state of Texas.

Critically think about this, go back to the Big 12 and figure out how much the SEC needs or wants you as your conference crumbles. Guess what shite for brains, you're lucky your people in charge were smart enough to make the call and ask to come into the SEC and that your state has a big enough TV market, otherwise you'd be WVU right now.

probably because he knew it was inevitable and had no say in the matter anyway

He also said he only hoped it wouldn't destroy the games and rivalries that made this conference so great

The fans won't get anything out of it unless they live in Houston or Dallas and can now see their team play in college station every other yr. And maybe you will land a few more Texas recruits each yr. Sorry, not much in it for you fans I guess. But the big guys seem to like it.

Not much in it for your fans either

Aggies are so pumped now, but I imagine they'll be wishing they were back in the Big XII when they go 5-7 next year

No, unlike the Big 12, we share money. Hence why we took you and not a team from a state a SEC school is already in. We had to bring in a good amount of money so we could still all make the same amount. Cause we share.

This is true, but you're also benefiting by the dissolving of the Big 12 and so is the rest of the SEC. Kids parents from Texas don't wannna go to oregon to watch a game when South Carolina is half the distance.

I don't give a frick bout what your predispositions are about A&M or the move...It's beyond irrelevant.

I have no concern with alleviating whatever mystical concerns you, or any other SEC fan may have. Why don't you try trusting the heads of your respective schools and the head of the conference with making strategic moves regarding the conference's future.

You would think you'd have enough deductive reasoning skills to understand that more $$=better positioning for the entirety of the school you claim.

This is not a complex concept...
