Yeah, well, David Koresh had plenty of people who believed in him too.

I love mentioning Kiffin's name and seeing some of you react like a bunch of gossiping school girls. I haven't heard an original reason yet on why he was a bad hire. One or two arguments got thrown out there months ago and they are just recycled. At least think for yourselves. Kiffin is young...so what? What does that have to do with anything? Players are gone from the team for whatever reason. It happens everytime there is a coaching change. Its just getting a lot of press cause of Kiffin's status. We took a step up by getting a driven coach that has a fire to win as opposed to Fulmer who was content with the way the program was going. As for the Ole Miss fan that acts like Kiffin was his dead beat dad... You cheer for Ole Miss. What can you possibly know about football?

I thought he was a good hire at first. Couple of reasons why i'm more lukewarm on him and they are all football related.

1. He hasn't signed enough quality linemen. It's great if you get Bryce Brown....except for the part where he has no one blocking for him

2. I have no problem with Kiffin being mouthy. Spurrier used to be mouthy(albeit in a different way) but throwing yourself in the fire when the next couple of years are going to be a struggle isn't the best of ideas. If he hadn't popped off so many times and signed the class he signed last year...he'd be golden. But he's dug himself a hole. It exist. We can't pretend it doesn't.

He signed a damn good class and was only there a few months to do it. He has to be out there and in people's faces to get some life back in a dead program. Fulmer let the life drain out of the team and the fanbase. As for signing BB, sometimes you have to have one to have the other. By signing the number one recruit and number one back, OL will want to come block for him. Now back to recruiting, I can only imagine the quality classes to come when he has a full year or more to work with these kids

Oh, I agree with you. It was a fantastic class. Best secondary signings in the nation as far as i'm concerned. And part of the problem with the o line is Fulmer's fault. But you have to have linemen in the sec. I'm sure Orgeron will do with what he has.

For the record, i'm not nearly as down on Kiffin as most are. I just have cooled a bit on what I thought was a fantastic hiring

Yeah 5-15 is so ahead of his time in coaching that today it still looks like a horrible record.

Yaw Yaw says he thinks faster than other people. No he just thinks faster than
you dumbass.

Yeah he has a better chance being found dead with a Raider helmet shoved up his arse, than being a SEC coach in two years.

UT you know you fricked up hiring that piece of shite.

The people I know in Oakland, say he didnt know 1/100 if what he thought he did as a coach and it will come to light in UT.

In the end, Al Davis will make sure he is done in. You can bank on it! He has too much money and he never forgets and never stops once you pissed him off.

True. But Miles has a National Championship in D-1 Football as a head coach, which is one more than Kiffin will ever have.
