Were how many years into NIL now and people still haven’t the slightest clue what it is?

It’s VERY simple. You cannot limit how much money someone can make on their own time. That’s it. It’s a law. It’s been a law for 100 years. It isn't anything new.

If you don’t like it, then stop giving them your money. Don’t donate to NIL collectives. Don’t spend your money with companies who donate. It’s so very simple.

Or you can just big baby cry online because people are able to profit off of themselves.

I wasn’t going to bother but I’ll at least take a swing at this fricking softball.

A 3rd party(the NCAA) has no right to dictate the rights of two other parties.

Just continuing to double down on historically fricking stupid takes.

I will continue to speak on the topic while you call me stupid and never make anything that resembles a real argument as usual.

A free market includes EVERYONE having equal rights, and no matter if you want to admit it or not, that includes the NCAA and any other organization or business.

These players can always explore other alternatives and get as much NIL money as they want. The NCAA has never prevented ANYONE from doing that. It has prevented them from doing that and playing NCAA football, that is it.

But apparently, among the super smart people like you the NCAA has no right to decide if they should allow them to play or not. I find that ridiculous.

DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER.

Nothing else that you managed to vomit out matters. Not a thing.

Everyone has equal rights. Everyone. A person has the right to enter into a financial agreement with another person/party.

Everyone has equal rights.

Literal fricking socialists in this thread trying to dictate how much money someone should be able to make.

I would love to drop their salaries down to what I feel is acceptable.

Yes, the NCAA has rights as well.

Actually…they “had” rights. That was before their entire business model was mangled.

I'm usually with ya bro, but not so much with this one.

You're 100% right about the free market and NIL. There is also the consideration that if I don't like the product, I don't have to consume it. I don't have to buy tickets. I don't have to contribute to any collective. I don't have to buy from Widget Inc. because they signed a NIL deal with a player.

I watched the 1st Round games and Quarterfinals because I wanted to see teams that Georgia might end up playing. I no longer have that to consider. The kids' school is already closed tomorrow because of the weather so we're going to do our weekly pizza and movie night tonight. These are the kids that have some reciprocity for the passion I show towards them, not some mercs who would swap to Georgia Tech, Clemson, Florida, or Tehran Jihad University if the bag was there.

I do not drink.

The NCAA isn't a monopoly and has done nothing to prevent competition. When leagues try to compete they end up paying the players like 50k a year and provide no where near the same benefits the NCAA does. They choose the NCAA because the NCAA offers the best benefits.

Ben Shapiro is neocon/globalist and outside schooling stupid college leftists is pretty much worthless in my book.
