Watch the Las Vegas odds - right now AU is a 8.5 point favorite. IF anything semi-solid comes out of this mess, it will IMMEDIATELY be reflected in the money line. ANY truth (or close) will impact the money line faster than ESPN can scroll. Everyone else can speculate - but these guys are in the know when it comes to money -- just my thoughts and 2 cents.

so are you saying AU will become less of a favorite if Cam is found guilty?

But I think Cam plays no matter what since it really won't matter at this point.
It will be really hard for AU to come out and say "our bad he did take the money so he's not eligible now".

You are an idiot. Betting lines are moved to make money. Only Cam not playing will move the line.

Eh, lots of potential transaction costs at issue there, and I doubt the investigators who will likely be the first with the facts will be betting that info. Not to mention all the rumor mongering and uncertainty will encourage lots of the big money to stay away.

You can't handle the truth.

The lines move to try to keep the money even on both sides of the line. If the line moves it is jst a reflection of the betting publics opinion that Cam will not play or that AU will not play well amid the distractions.
