Who would it be?
Saban... I'm sorry, but he's going to be 73 this year. Even with his track record, I'm not going to bring in a guy over 70, because he's year-to-year at best, and not a practical candidate to last a 5 yr contract.
Kelly is about as old as I would consider, and it's big that he has enough of a successful history that I would go with a guy that old. Stoops is a slightly younger, less successful version of Kelly.
Smart is the ideal candidate, still young and already established.
Heupel is near the top of the younger group, a decent background in place.
Kiffin and Freeze are big risks to blow up the program as much as they could elevate it.
