My favorite thing about being in the SEC is saying "hey...we got to step on the same field as...BAMA!!"

I'm glad I can keep you in line even after all of this time. Just for that, Mocha will wear her purple and gold dress and we will watch an episode of My Name is Earl.

Exactly, because LSU's defense will own JM every single year.

Is there anything more ironic than an LSU fan talking about the overhyping of Johnny Manziel? I mean, if you asked the average fan last year would they even know that "Honey Badger"'s name was Tyrann Matthieu? Before that it was Cam Newton. Before that it was Tebow Mania. DWI, at least they are SEC players.

I also find it funny how many folks think suddenly Manziel will regress next year. Do you not realize that he still barely understands the playbook at this point? What do you think happens when he knows the offense as well as Case Keenum did last year at UH only you add in the "Johnny Football B Button" factor? The talent around him is also only getting better.

It's going to be a fun ride for both the JFF lovers and the JFF haters. Either you cheer for the guy to win or you hate on the guy to get killed. That's what college football is all about. At least he is a lot more entertaining than watching an LSU/Bama FG festival like we had last year. You watch JFF and no one knows what is going to happen next, not even Johnny.

i was hoping that LSUs complete and total domination of him would calm some of the jibber jabber......then he goes and stomps bama and it starts all over.

It's not hype anymore. He has proven that he is a good SEC QB.

I dispise the cultists at TAM but I love watching this kid play. If I had a Heisman vote, he'd get it.

A&M defense won the game by stopping Bama on the the last drive. If that doesn't happen then Johnny Football is just an also story.

He's a great college qb and he deserves the accolades. But I think mostly what you are dealing with is the AM fanbase. If you never lived in Texas you wouldn't understand, texans are taught to be arrogant starting at birth. If it isn't AM it will be someone else. Hell, I heard an SMU fan talking shite one time. Nevermind that there would be no Texas if it weren't for mainly Tenneseeans and other volunteers from the south (including Louisiana) to come save their arse. But I bet they don't teach that part in their history classes.

And yet he still put up the most combined passing and rushing against LSU's D all year.

We can be arrogant too. That is in the DNA of Texans, Aggies and Whorns alike.
