2 guaranteed, as in the bare minimum.

Only 3 times in the last decade have you not gotten your requested 2. Had LSU simply turned down CBS those years, they would have gotten the night game they covet. Seems like this is LSUs fault.

Fair...funny how nobody complains about fairness when it's going their way. I hate the word fair.

Your traditions involve the schedule.

Yes, but if the tradition is home night games, both SEC and non-conference games protect that tradition.

This is basically what it boils down to. LSU fans have seriously gone off the deep end with things to complain about

Again, if we were guaranteed 2 going in, we'd get more just through the natural way things end up working out.

I will ask you again if you would be ok with playing Georgia in 58% of seasons.

It's not about complaining. It's about looking at things objectively.

Did I complain in 2011 when we drew a down Florida, a down Tennessee and Kentucky? Nope.

Looking at it objectively, did we benefit from a weak draw on East opponents that year? Absolutely we did...

but can I say "hey well that's just the roll of the dice...there's a fair scheduling policy in place, and we just got lucky with the draw." No...No I can't.

Only if you are ok with getting an SEC game at night in 58% of seasons.

So when you argue to keep your traditions it's one thing. When we argue to keep ours it's "going over the deep end"?

Of course they absolutely try to do that. I'm not complaining about the number of night games. I respect the tradition and want to see that happen a couple of times a year, but I'll also line up and play at whatever time they tell us to.

All you have to do is turn down the CBS money and you are guaranteed...nobody is stopping you.

Of course not. Both schools make it a priority to play eachother.

LSU does not make it a priority to play at night.

I'm not sure you understand how the ratification process works.

But you do not want to address breaking tradition and not playing aTm as the first game of the season.

Of course LSU broke tradition by refusing to play them to finish the series when aTm was beating them down on a yearly basis.

What you're talking about is not a tradition in our eyes. And since we're one if the teams involved I'd say it matters how we view it.

Rivalry application officially denied.

Feel free to break it down then.

If you feel that LSU is being forced to play on CBS, then that is an issue between LSU and CBS. NO other school seems to have that issue.

It's a shame you're so unwilling to have a rational conversation about this issue and its also a shame that you don't respect college football traditions.

If we're playing on CBS a lot, it's because we're good. I'd rather be on CBS all season than have a few night games.

I appreciate the tradition of Saturday Night in Death Valley, but I like winning more.

LSU fans -

"We absolutely do not agree with CBS putting us in the biggest time slot available for college football. We deserve to be playing on ESPN2 at 8:00 pm because that's how we done did it for 50 years. This is so messed up, I am pissed."

Drac, I'm trying to support your cause, but in this day and age, $$$$$ > Tradition

That's just the direction the game is going
