"Seriously"?
We have a tradition of playing night games in Tiger Stadium that goes back to the early 30s. This tradition is seen as dispensible by the SEC. You would also wonder why your traditions don't seem to matter as much as other schools' if you were in our position. the problem is that you lack perspective. You can't seem to see the situation objectively and are stuck viewing it through your own bias.
But like I said, soon it won't matter, all of our traditons will be given up one by one for the almighty dollar. And the whole time each fan base will think theirs are more special than others, so no one will stand together to save what makes college football so special, the individual traditions.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

When was they game against your new "historic" rival Texas A&M played on a annual basis?
Last game of the year, every year, right?

They really took it to us in that regional back in 2001.

You don't get to play home games under the lights is what I thought you were mad about today. But I could have gotten it confused. It is hard to keep track of sometimes. I should keep a little notebook to write stuff down like with Game of Thrones.

The year before we played 0 home SEC night games.
That's not true. You played 2 out of 6 at night. And that's because two of the games got picked up by CBS as the #1 game that weekend. The year before that had 4 out of 7 games at night, with the other 3 being CBS primetime games. The year before that? 7 out of 7 games were at night.
Such a conspiracy against LSU.

Yes, it is true. We played 4 SEC Home games in 2011. None of them were played at night. This is an inarguable fact.

The "tradition" you a bitching about "losing" is based on scheduling.

Chill out, dude. I love Tiger stadium at night. Hope your people can work it out. I'll see what I can do.
ETA And by the way, I did speak up for the Jews!

I find it troublesome you seriously do not understand how TV contracts work. The night time isn't the big time for Saturdays. If 1 member of the SEC refused to play the 2:30 slot, then how would that impact CBS? Obviously, it would have made the SEC CBS deal less valuable.

12 years isn't enough time to build rivalries. Maybe if LSU stays relevant for a good while they can build a rivalry.

...playing a game in Little Rock ever year?
...losing to Texas?
