Of note, Kenan was over 62k before they ripped out the bleachers and put in individual seats. I think the bleachers remain in the student section behind one of the endzones. I went once when they had bleachers (and backs) so if you were over 5'8" or so, you had intentions of the bleacher back in your knees. Place was a nice setting, but the seating was terrible, I'm sure it's much improved now.

They see Ole Miss in everything. Literally everything. I don’t blame them. It sucks to be them.
I'm not a hate State kind of guy but their (not everyone, just the retards in the fanbase) hatred toward us skews their mindset quite a bit.
I grew up hating Tennessee. State was always just another SEC game for me.

That certainly would explain it. I'm guessing it's an old stadium like Harvard, that wasn't really designed for the long legs of modern humans.
Anyways, much appreciated explanation.

Bad logic up in here
The SEC doesn’t need any additional football powers. It needs more of everything else. The only football related point to make regarding UNC(and UVA) is locking down those high quality states into SEC country. Who cares how big their stadium is? And that they are a middling football program at best is a good thing.
You add UNC for elite basketball. For elite olympic sports. For elite academics. For AAU status. Fertile recruiting grounds. High growth state. Quality TV market. Etc…….all of which the SEC needs more than football production

I don't. Why is reading comprehension so difficult for some of you? I was surprised at the size of their stadium. That's all.

You think UNC is a fb decision?

UNC is a not a fit. UVA, either. Politically or their overall football/Fan cultures.
Clemson, FSU and Virginia Tech are fits if we HAVE TO expand.
If commissioner Snakey of the ESPN conference cared about culture then UTranny wouldn’t have been let in. Very little difference between them and UNC/UVA
Im cool with VPI over UVA if they get their act together and prove it
Cool with FSU if we’re also balancing out the conference with multiple non-football schools like UNC or Kansas
But NO on Clemson. Unless we’re dropping USCe, there’s zero reason to have two schools from such a small state

VPI?

100% it is but it's not about the strength of their football program. Market sizes still matter despite what some people think. Market sizes are what brings TV money. Football is by far king in the money making space.

for UNC, I'm pretty sure the deal is already done. It's just a question of who comes with them in 2030.
NC State is most likely going to the SEC with UNC. There is commotion that the Big 10 will take Duke and Wake Forest. Possibly Syracuse and Pitt as well

Oh all right. AKA VT

They are not very good at football more of a basketball ball school.
But if the fan base grows they can always expand.
NC State has the larger stadium hopefully they both come in.
NC state actually has Football fans

UNC is the unclaimed jewel by both the SEC and big ten. Both conferences want them for the TV exposure. North Carolina is like #10 or so in population and it is growing.
UNC supposedly is a better TV draw than NC State. I am not that familiar with either one. I know several NC State alumni and they are great folks. UNC people, that I have known, carried around a big dose of arrogance, kind of like Ga Teck people.

If UNC joined the SEC it wouldn't be fore the football program.

I can see NC State as a possibility to the SEC since they share a board with UNC. Even though Duke is the better school to take
If realignment has taught us one thing, it’s that the B1G will absolutely not take a school that isn’t AAU. Wake Forest and Syracuse are top candidates to be left out like the PAC 2
UNC, UVA, GT, Miami, Pitt, Notre Dame, Stanford, Cal, Utah, Kansas, ASU, Arizona, Colorado are the AAU schools
Ive heard Florida State and NC State are really trying to get membership ASAP
