No
Conference Championships from outer conferences don't even count as much as Division 'Champions'

Uhm, you brought it up. I didn't mention dates at all. You're dumb.

07 was the last time Tennessee made the SECCG.
And, yet, Tennessee still has a better resume and greater prestige than any SEC school not named Alabama.

So A&M has 1 national title then?

Historically, yes.
But what have you done for me lately?

How is Texas big6 when they are 6th in the Big 12 the past decade? When they have less wins than Arkansas in the past 12 years (playing in a weak-arse conference)?

If this happens Auburn will be a mainstay at the bowl in Shreveport- what’s the name of it?

Nice "let's troll Auburn" thread
I appreciate the Oklahoma fan who said let's wait and see where things shake out first. Nothing's a given when entering another conference, especially one acknowledged as way more competitive.
Arkansas was generally considered top 2-3 SWC, made a little noise at times, but has settled in somewhere near the middle of the pack (outside the Big Six). Fwiw, Nebraska was probably a top 5 national program for most of it's existence, is scratching to be bowl-eligible in the Big 10.
If this goes through, there will be some wars initially as teams establish the new pecking order. Don't expect Auburn, LSU, UGA or Florida (much less Alabama) to role over.

It's been a Big Five for a while with a few applicants for #6. A&M is the frontrunner. OU and TX can send in their resumes.

OU and TX resumes are more impressive than most in the SEC. They are in the mix.

Not Texas, though. Auburn has been much better than Texas over the last ten or so years.
Texas does have 4 national championships to Auburn's 2, but Auburn has had to play in a real conference while Texas has hid in kiddie conferences.
Gotta agree with Teddy here, Auburn > Texas.

No. Georgia would get booted out instead of both of them. Tenn and auburn have more nattys, more recent nattys, and historical prestige than georgia does. That's a fact.
