You are overrating the talent. They weren't that great and lacked a big man. They had to play an all SEC player out of position because they lacked guys.

so last years talent sucked?

It was good but it was not near as good as the 2006 final four team. That team had some incredible talent. It would of been a championship team with a true PG.

Thornton and Taz are of course awesome

Temple, Q. Thornton, and Johnson were nothing special.

Bo played a little better last year cause he wasn't called on as much. He is a role player.

That team overachiever big time when the biggest person they had was Taz at 6'7 240.

I think everybody would agree with that. Johnson inherited a more than average team his first year.

Yes but they overachieved big time by winnig the SEC and giving UNC it's best game ofthe tourney.

Definitely.

And I think he put the nail in the coffin by taking that team Brady took to 8-13 the year before to an SEC Championship in showing how much of a joke Brady was as an actual coach.

The talent on this team is some of the lowest in recent SEC history.

Sounds like major sour grapes

Meh - I wish we had him but he complains every time he doesn't get the ball. He's not exactly a glass cleaner or a team player so don't get your hopes up in that regard.

Trent will know how to use him unlike your guard based offense.

He had a chance to be our starting center, he just wanted to be the focal point. He won't be a focal point on your team either, FWIW.
