re: Statistically, Cam is nowhere near the MVP

They wouldn't be undefeated, but they could definitely win the division with Derek Anderson under center. Top 5 defense, well-coached, opportunistic, etc. Prove me wrong.
Part of what makes Carolina's defense great is that Carolina runs the ball well (which is partially because of Cam) and They don't make many mistakes, forcing teams into longer fields. Carolina's receivers suck mind you. A non mobile threat at QB with these receivers would be a disaster waiting to happen.
re: Who wouldve won more titles-Duncan & Kobe or Shaq and T-Mac?(as duos)

Although they would probably hate each other as teammates, they'd make it work
I actually don't think that would be the case. The one thing Kobe always had beef with were players who didn't any sort of work ethic. That's never been the case with Duncan. I think Kobe would've gotten along pretty well with both him and Pop.
re: Is Chris Mortensen missing any cliches from this tweet on QB Sean Mannion?

great upside, not a me guy, great passion for the game

And I think it's by a mile at the moment.

Sounds like he could have a legitimate argument
Agreed. Too many factors involved for him to actually win the argument imo, but I see nothing wrong with his reasoning.

That's K. Gates
re: Tyrant...What is the boards impression of the new FX show?

I'm hooked. Kind of surprised it hasn't caught on with a mainstream audience. It's a pretty good watch.

Posted by Message quail man Kobe called a ref a "fig" once…or something similar. I think we should go ahead and ban him forever.
I think the funniest part in all this is certain people acting as if this is Sterling's first and only situation that brought the NBA to this point. I'm fairly sure had he done this and not had all the backlash from the previous situation he would not be looking at anywhere near what he is. He was probably treading on thin nice long before this.
re: Would you rather have Jim Harbaugh or Sean Payton as your head coach?
Posted by King Mello on 1/21/14 at 8:42 pm

Harbaugh's a douche but I'd still probably take him over Payton as a head coach. People saying he inherited a lot of talent… it's not as if Payton doesn't have a lot of talent on the Saints. And Harbaugh as done more with less talent in recent years. Alex Smith was the best QB he had and he's on par with Bobby Hebert.
 Have you seen the players on that defense?.. SP came in and cleaned house after Katrina and went to the NFC title game with a 7th rounder starting at WR and a group of misfits on D.. Deuce and Drew were the only note worthy players on that team.. Its funny that people are laughing off what Harbaugh inherited, i think an entire unit beats out 1 player any day of the week.. all he has to do is make sure his QB doesn't turn the ball over and he's basically a guaranteed a playoff spot with a beast of a running back that he also inherited

I wouldn't be against having 2 levels of PI where when a db is beat and blatantly tackles the wr it's a spot foul. It's a subjective call anyway and I think it would actually be easier on the refs to call a blatant one as opposed to incidental contact
This would be my suggestion, use it as a flagrant/non-flagrant foul in basketball.. Brings more subjectivity to the game but if you make it reviewable it would make all these calls alot easier
re: Can Jennings be as good as miller or boyd?
Posted by King Mello on 1/3/14 at 11:29 pm
Considering all 3 are completely different QBs outside of one obvious trait, kind of hard to really say at the moment..

He did have Roddy White in his first year with the Falcons in which they did go to the playoffs without Jones and Gonzales.
His numbers were not phenomenal, but he has only gotten better.
He also had the 2nd leading rusher in the entire NFL that season
re: How would Lebron and Jordan fare with these two roster swaps?
Posted by King Mello on 6/20/13 at 5:14 pm
against the same EC Lebron was going up against half of his career as a Cavalier, i think Jordan actually keeps his team in championship contention alot more often than Lebron did..

None of those players are/were as good as Shaq, who was clearly the best player on those Lakers teams.
None of them are/were as good as Kobe either.. not saying Shaq wasnt the primary option but Kobe was alot more than just a role player in those championships

You think he calls Shaq for permission before he puts on the 00, 01, or 02 ring?
He should.
Does Jordan have to ask Pippen?.. or better yet does Lebron have to ask Wade or Bosh?
