And only the Barn (and Texas I guess) would do a sneak onside kick.

And Nick Saban against Tennessee in 2007. And this guy.

No onside kick is a pussy move. Because if it doesn't work, then it gives the other team great field position. It's a ballsy move if anything.

One thing to do a regular onside kick. Another thing to pull an onside out of your arse because you're afraid to play the other team straight up.

It's okay though, we get it. Auburn knew it was their only chance. Too bad it still didn't work.

Anyone else try that last season? I'll wait.

that will go down in the history books as one of the ballsiest moves in football. i mean the guy almost gave a peyton manning offense a short field but it worked so he's a genius

Y'all won. I'll give y'all that. But you're talking out of your arse if you say we didn't play y'all straight up. And if y'all got good field position off of it, you wouldn't be pissed about it and still bringing it up in such a light 5 months later.

Against y'all? I don't know, I don't watch Alabama football. But if you're saying in all of college football, yeah it happened at some point.

That's the play I'm talking about....Why would Saban have allowed a player to call such a play on his own? And, in the National Championship game of all such times?

The only legit play you scored with was the Adams catch, and that was because of busted coverage. Everything else was shenanigans.

It still would've been a desperate move whether we got it or not.

every team has checks for things like this. if a player see's something they are told to call it. saban would have chewed some butt if the look for a fake punt was there and no one called a fake punt. thats how teams are coached these days

I don't believe he was aware it was being called. He probably thought the guy realized it was just a normal punt return formation and thought nothing of it. Stupid upback and his asshattery.

LINK

Just watch that. 2nd TD didn't look like shenanigans to me. And the end around for the TD, y'all missed a lot of tackle opportunities on that one.

I'm not gonna sit here and search for the link of a youtube video of it happening. But it probably did. Also, a guy named Payton, coaches a team called the Saints did it in a little game called the Super Bowl this year.

Wow. You had our playbook from the whole year and you still couldn't stop our "schoolyard bullshite". What does that say? Chris Motherfricking Todd burned you for fricks sake. Give credit where credit is due, bitch.

Talkin bout last year brah.

You bet your arse we were desperate after suspending players for scamming the textbook industry.

However, we managed to crush them that day. Something Auburn and Tejas failed to do.

If the SEC west comes down to the Iron Bowl.. Auburn won't be a Factor in the SEC West. IF Alabama loses during the season. The LSU vs Arkansas game will be the other game that will factor in the West.. In other words.. If Bama loses during the season.. the west will come down to Bama, LSU and Arkansas.. Not Auburn.

Would've never got there if it wasn't for half-back pass.

Oh you mean the play where the OL clearly facemasks Jackson. Yeah...you're right. No shenanigans there.

Okay. Auburn, Tejas, and the New Orleans Saints. There you go.
