If the SEC West title comes down to the Iron Bowl...

Alabama will win.
That's not to say they don't win if it doesn't come down to the Iron Bowl. But I think if the west title comes down to the Auburn game, that means Bama's lost one or even two games previously, and will be as motivated as ever.
I wouldn't count on the Barn managing to sneak out any blitz onside kicks or reverses, half back passes, or any of the other trickery they desperately employed last season. Bama got hit in the mouth and deservedly so. Somehow they forgot that eventhough Auburn wasn't exactly a national title contender last year, they are the enemy in one of the fiercest rivalries in sports. They were a deer in the headlights and almost let their oversight cost them a perfect season.
So, the Iron Bowl will be a vengeance game for both teams this year. But for Bama, it won't be avenging a loss. Rather it will be righting the wrong that was letting those red-headed, bastard stepchildren ever think they deserved to be the victors of that game last season. Bama will be out for blood, and a repeat of the 2008 massacre.
Let the Bama hate/Aubsession remarks/and general rivalry bitching commence.

I can honestly say I have no idea what to expect from Auburn this year. They've got so many question marks on both sides of the ball. I'd say best case scenario for them would be 9 or 10 wins. Worst case scenario probably 6 or 7 wins.

Didn't Bama do a failed sneak onside kick against Texas last year? Guess you missed that play?

No I don't remember that play.
I do remember a certain jackass upback who shall not be named checking to a fake punt because he thought he saw hard look from the punt block team, but in reality just saw a normal punt return formation.

If the SEC West title comes down to the Iron Bowl it means we choked our potential away. my goal is second in the west. the year after this though is when we should win it. i've noticed a pattern that after a big name qb or 4 year starter leaves teams tend to do very well on the national stage
