TV markets and new states don’t matter anymore, it’s about football brands so I don’t buy the UNC or UVA hype
Biggest football brands not currently in the P2 are Notre Dame, Clemson, FSU and Miami
Notre Dame has no reason to join a conference with the playoffs expanding and would be a weird fit
Miami would be a weird fit
That leaves Clemson and FSU by process of elimination

Personally, I would prefer to see more Vanderbilt-style additions to help raise the conference's academic profile.

I’d rather go independent

I personally would like Clemson due to their competitive history with Ga..
I also like VT & think them vrs. TA&M would be an interesting matchup.
I also understand the bb help with UNC, Va., Duke, & Kansas.
Anybody know about other schools that would assist our conference in other sports?
While I’m open to further geographical expansion, I see the travel issues the B1G & ACC are now dealing with.

Side Question: How well do you see the other main (P4) Conferences holding up with their current structure? Ex: Does USC stay in the BIG?
While I understand the PAC schools jumping on the B1G & ACC to stay in a Power conference, I think the travel will do them in (either by toll on the body, $, or both). Yes, the pros have travel, but they don’t have to deal with school/jobs & usually play multiple opponents during that stretch

Even GT?
I guess UGA’s opinion of them would be different than Auburn’s.

Im worried we (Texas) might make everyone in this conference leave and search for success elsewhere
Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri. A&M
All left Big 12 after several hard fought losses apeice to us and nothing looked like it was gonna change soon
I sure hope we can keep traditional SEC teams together with Texas
If we start beating Georgia every year they could leave and make the ACC a good conference
I sure like the teams we have now in SEC and and dont want to see the opposite happen

Hey you changed my text you forger
It said we beat nebraska and A&M and missouri and colorado every year it seemed like and nothing looked to change and they searched for success in new conferences
I hope Georgia dont go to the ACC
If we beat them 4 years in a row with nothing looking to change after
They could boost the ACC alot and the SEC would never be the same without them
Lets keep the SEC together forever!!!
