If the SEC goes to 16, who do we take?

The way I see it, we're only going to 16 if there are going to be four 16-team megaconferences. If that's the case, it'll be the Big Ten, SEC, Pac-1X and one of the Big XII or ACC (with the other going the way of the dinos).
Two-fold question. Who do we pick up if:
(a) the Big XII collapses, or
(b) the ACC collapses?
I'm saying N.C. State and Virginia Tech if the ACC goes under. Really don't know that we poach the Big XII though. There are a couple of really good potential additions (Oklahoma comes to mind), but A&M would throw a fit (rightfully) and I think the conference respects their objection (as it should).

I'd prefer NC and Oklahoma personally.

Oklahoma is tied to OSU. They cannot (and do not) want to separate. Also, Oklahoma is worth very little in this conference realignment game, as they have around 25k TV sets in the whole state.
This has been discussed.

I would love to see Virgina Tech and UNC. I highly doubt UNC would join the SEC and would look to the B1G should the ACC go kaput.
From the Big XII..
Texas and Oklahoma

frick OU. Luckily they are stuck with OSU thanks to Boone, who the SEC would never take.
In fact Boone's power might help us take OU down a notch.

I'd rather have UNC than NC State if the ACC collapses, but I'm with you on VA Tech.
As for the Big 12, I'd be fine with either Oklahoma school or TCU (only 1 of the three) and West Virginia.

I'd love to see A) Texas NOT even get an SEC offer (this will happen), and B) Baylor and Tech sue the shite out of them (this also will happen). We shut the door on any texas or oklahoma schools from ever joining the SEC

South Carolina doesn't want Clemson in the conference and they don't really bring anything of importance anyways.
Va Tech would surely come. I don't think UNC and Duke separate. Maybe Miami as #2? I don't really want anyone else.

At least the first two offer something of value with bball. I would hope UVA is never even remotely considered.
