If you're just looking at the score you don't know that LSU was up by 20 and Oregon scored on their last drive and LSU was in prevent defense. So yes Oregon was down by 20 until the final mins. Yes If you watched the game it was a blowout win for LSU.

A 13 point loss at site that heavily favors the other team is destroying?

It wasn't that close and their last TD was scored in garbage time against the 2nd and 3rd teamers

Oregon scored its last touchdown with 13 seconds left to go in the game.

LSU was up 33-13 in the third quarter... Oregon scored to cut it to 13, and LSU marched back down the field to score to put it at 40-20... where it was until 13 seconds left in the game.

Revisionist history is beautiful and all... but it was pretty much a blow out.

Why would I need to watch it? What difference would that make? How many of Oklahoma State's games have you watched?

Typical Big 12-2 fan response.

If the best two teams in the country play for the NC...

then it begs the question...

Is Oregon better today than it was the first game of the year on September 3rd?

Also, Oregon played LSU in Baton Rouge, so I just don't see how 'Bama even has s dog in this fight. They had their shot and they failed...at home.

This is a good question would a team that was beaten handily be a better choice than a team that lost in overtime?

Where was the game played?

There is no excuse for the home team to lose in OT.

Both 'Bama and Oregon have lost to LSU, so I think either OU or OSU should have their shot.

It was played in Bama what’s your point?

Las Vegas only gives a home team a 3 point bump reason is that home field history is but a small advantage!

The teams that play the game make the difference!

Why, because I actually think outside the SEC?

Should I mark you down for a 'Bama rematch as well?

I actually hope OSU beats OU. I like the idea of some team other than OU or Texas win the Big 12 and get to play LSU for the NC.

Of course LSU needs to get past Arkansas or the 'Bama crybabies will really start wailing.

Not only is Mizzou not ready to compete in the SEC, the Mizzou fans aren't ready to discuss football with SEC fans.
