Just win the conference then really kick dirt on Ole Miss, MSU, Kentucky, South Carolina and just buy Vandy a beer.

Then give the bird to Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee followed by the "Bring it" hand motion.

Have you ever watched Bill Dance's fishing bloopers? It's really hard to give Tennessee's fans the bird after watching it, that dude is awesome.

Not a bad analogy until it changes but the H2H is 40-27-3 Arkansas.

I was referring to them both being in the SWC.

Ha, I have way to much going on at work at the moment.

I even posted the darn series wrong after linking it.

It's 40-23-3! Arkansas.

I gotcha as for the SWC records.

This is just weird. If you look at Mack's record as HC at Texas and Harsin's record as OC at Boise, they don't lose very much

Mack just isnt a very good HC IMO. He has every resource around him at Texas to be Top 10 basically every year and compete for a national title at least once every 3-4 years yet during his time at Texas outside of landing Black Jesus v.1 he's seen Oklahoma, a school who shouldnt be beating him constantly, win the conference way more than he has and play in much bigger games. How you go from playing for a national title to 5-7 in ONE year is beyond me. It's not like he had to deal with sanctions or huge changes. He had 4 and 5 star talent everywhere still, and his team fell completely apart. I think Mack's best days of coaching are behind him, and even in his best days he's played second fiddle to Oklahoma for the most part.

Very funny and I agree on Dance's bloopers.

HOWEVER, I was in the stands for the 6 over-time lose in Knoxville with Matt Jones. I watched Stoerner screw us on the play in 1998.

It's a shame we don't play them more often... We would've given some payback the last few years. At least we will this year. I have NO sympathy for Tennessee especially after 5 years of stealing top in-state players from Arkansas to play for the Vol years ago.

Yeah I wished we played them more often for sure. I remember that game like it was yesterday.

I'm looking forward to that game this year simply because my closest friend is from Tennessee - I really hope I get to rub salt in his wounds.

I'm still waiting on him to tell me how any Big 12 team has a shot at the BCSNC without the Pac 12, Big 10 and SEC champ having 2+ losses.

SOS and pre-season rankings (ie the preconceived perception of how good your team is)

Those both favor A&M and OU if they were to go undefeated

Better. Arkansas hurt themselves when they left the SWC as they cut themselves off from the Texas recruiting pipeline. A&M (for obvious reasons) won't have that happen to them.

I believe they would parallel Arkansas' success. Basically middle of the pact SEC team. However, A&M's upside is higher because they sit in far better recruiting grounds than Arkansas and you can't pick up and move your university to more fertile recruiting.
Should Texas continue to struggle, A&M will start picking up more top Texas recruits. A&M has been down the past 10 years but they were consistently good before that time. People are either too young to remember or have forgotten.

IF TAMU comes it opens back up Houston for Arkansas. It would actually be a good thing. Lots of kids do not like the Military style that is TAMU. It worked out well for Arkansas in the SWC and would work out well for Arkansas in the SEC.

Not to mention TAMU is far away from the SEC which gives us more advantage than TAMU, our games are a lot closer and much easier to explain to momma.

It won't stop for a while. Especially with kids who aren't older than 25.

The SEC is not going to do a darn thing anytime soon. You wait and see what your competition does in terms of numbers.

The SEC wants to see what the Big10's revenue is now with 12 temas and a championship game. The ultra screw up would be the SEC going to 14 teams and only making a few $million more than the Big10..

Talk about killing the identity of the SEC forever.

A&M has military roots and history. The current student body is just like everybody elses. The Corps is about 2,500 out of 48,000 students.

A&M is 80 miles from Houston where those recruits would play 7 games/yr and BR is only 4 hours away and the kids will want to go to Arkansas?

Perception is all that matters and the Aggies are perceived as a military school with male cheerleaders.

Your closet game to the SEC is 364 miles away, LSU.

Little Rock, where we play 2 games and our largest fan base area hits 6 SEC schools in only 350 miles. LSU, Vandy, Ole Miss, MSU, Bama and Arkansas.

Example: it's 556 miles from College Station to Ole Miss.

Arkansas (Fayetteville) can get to LSU, Alabama, Vandy, Ole Miss and MSU all within 550 Miles.

A recruit from Houston can go to Arkansas and watch games close to home. (Fayetteville, Little Rock, Texas A&M and LSU which will cover 80% of the schedule.)

A recruit from Houston can go to Texas A&M and 65% of the games in Texas A&M and then travels REALLY far to the east for the rest..

This giving Arkansas a big advantage over the rest of the SEC schools recruiting Texas. Ole Miss, MSU, Alabama and Auburn a pretty far ways away. The rest of the SEC is loong ways away from College Station.

Much easier drive on Momma from Houston when her kids attend Arkansas over other SEC schools, minus LSU and TAMU to watch away and home games.

Sun, are you listening to yourself? How far is it from Houston to Arkansas? It's 80 MILES TO COLLEGE STATION.

Also, A&M has no cheerleaders. No spirit fingers or toe touches. Just 5 dudes in all whites leading yells. Come to a game in CS. It's pretty fun.

Also, Arkansas does have male cheerleaders
