bruh, Vandy got a shite ton of money, they just choose not to spend it on football.... Corbin came along in Baseball and started having success and now the mofo gets anything he wants... they got deeeeeep pockets there. their endowment is one of the largest in the country... they could build a new stadium and new facilities on their own... buddy of mine got 3 degrees from there... said endowment was like 22 Billion...

Current Saban, would not happen.

He is past the miracle program rebuild stage of his career. Saban is an all time great but when you see him on the sideline you can tell this is a coach that is on the down side of his career.

I will grant you, Saban on the downside of his career is still better than 95% of the coaches out there and that doesn't even get into the Alabama recruiting advantage.

Nope. Florida and Georgia will always have more talent than Vandy.

You believe that to be true if Saban was at Vandy ? Vandy would recruit like Stanford if Saban was there.

This is true - but he'd have to get the buy-in that Stanford gave Harbaugh a few years ago to support the program or at least not treat it like an intramural situation like they do now.

If Saban was at Vandy, you do not think that would happen ? Hell, he stepped on all the old dicks at Bama and got them to buy-in and shut up. Vandy would be a piece of cake.

Kinda surprised Saban hasn’t tried to build a lesser program as a challenge before he gets too old.

At this point at Alabama it has to be like playing with the top team on NCAA football set on varsity level. Gets boring

I do not think he would.

Vandy does not have the financial support in athletics to give Saban all he wants to provide the environment he has at Bama. He would win a good amount, but he only wins the East if Georgia and Florida are both down. Far to many disadvantages.
