Would it take for him to win the East and turn the program into 10 win type program? Or is that even possible.

Vandy can’t be worse off than what Bill Snyder accomplished at KState can it?

Damn. If Saban went to Vandy I’d bet they would beat Tennessee all the time.

Oh wait.

Not sure.

Alabama has the commitment to success that is not matched in college football. Many have the
Money, but Alabama is beyond committed.

James Franklin won nine games and finished in the top 25 in back to back seasons at Vandy. It's not like it's impossible to win there with a good coach at the helm.

James Franklin had them winning 9 games damn near immediately. Hes a prick but hes also been successful at Penn State.

Saban was good at LSU, hes good at Bama, and hed be good at Vandy.

Lets be real, players go where they know the coaches are.

A 50 year old Saban, three years. Current Saban, would not happen.

If he maintained his contacts in Birmingham, he could win anywhere in the SEC immediately.

Has to be one of the most awesome achievements in the modern era.

Saban would never go to Vandy because Vandy isn't going to do all the things Saban would want them to do.

But lets assume he did do that while Vandy keeps it's current resources and usage.

The answer is: Never.

Nah. Even a 50 year old Saban wasn't a good enough coach to win championships without a considerable talent advantage. He knew that at Michigan State and it was reinforeced when he went to the NFL.

Never, because Vandy wouldn't give him the support, recruiting budget, and relax their entrance standards.

First, we are talking about the East, then we are talking about giving him 3 years. The 50 year old Saban would have done it in that time frame.

Nope. Florida and Georgia will always have more talent than Vandy.
