I think they'll make it this year. They have a real favorable schedule. They don't play anyone in nonconference which means their starters can rest by the end of the first quarter 4 times. Bama and LSU are the only 2 teams that can challenge them. LSU won't win the west b/c they'll lose at least 3. If it comes down to Ole Miss vs Florida in the title I think Ole MIss will overpower and outcoach Florida AGAIN.

If ever Houston Nutt could accomplish a BCS bowl game it will be next year, of course if he does then he is gone the next day.

I however have the complete faith that based upon his track record --

He gain a couple of moral victories and show up for the Cotton Bowl again.

Even if I saw it on TV I wouldn't believe it. I would think there had to be some kind of trickery. I'd have to see it in person before I would believe it, then I would get sick.

wildrebeltime, shut the frick up for once. We haven't played a single game. There's no way I'm going to start talking shite about a national title until we beat Bama severely and are undefeated (which might not to happen), and maybe not even then, since Florida will be quite a barrier to overcome if we make it to the SEC Championship. You seem to have forgotten that Ole Miss tends to frick it up when they are really good. Hell, LSU and Bama fans here aren't discussing the national title with Florida in the way. And the thing that I highlighted is an extremely stupid assumption. Stop posting.

There is absolutely no way I will root for any SEC team other than UT. Except for State, but only because thats where my brother goes. Ole Miss is the biggest joke in our conference. They have on good football season in 20 years. Wait did I say good, I meant mediocre at best. I have always been a strong proponent for trading out Ole Miss for Memphis. You take essentially the same football program, but a far superior basketball program. It would do wonders for our conference.

Memphis has always sucked in every single sport but Basketball, and State has as well (except their specialty is disk golf). No one gives 2 fricks in the SEC about Basketball but Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida. Baseball is where its at. And we'll see how mediocre we are when yall come to Ole Miss to get sodomized. Yall won't be singing Rocky Top more than 3 times in the second half, since all yall would have left by then.

Seriously I can't even decide what to argue 1st.

Ok I'll try. You cheer for State but claim Ole Miss as a joke. Really? You said we had one good football season in 20 years. Wrong. Of the 4 years I was in school there we were bowl eligible every year (I think, it's been a while) I was there from 2000-2003 I know for fact we were 02 and 03 pretty sure we were 00 and 01. Granted we weren't playing in big bowls we still were getting our winning seasons in which State was having a hard time doing at that point because it was the end of the Jackie Sherill era. And then if you tack in this year that's way more than 1 season in the last 20 years and we were pretty decent in the 90's.

Also Ole Miss is not ever leaving the Sec. We are one of the founding teams and I am pretty sure we wont be kicked out and we aren't going to volunteer to leave either. The only reason Memphis gets as many wins as it does it because they play in a shitty conference with shitty teams. I am sorry conf. USA supporters.

Thats the difference between ole miss and the rest of the SEC, bowl eligble doesn't constitute a good season for most of us.

So what was this season to your fan base? The worse season in the last 20 years? Complete meltdown? FWIW I think ya'll would have been much better leaving Fulmer as the head coach than going with Kiffin. And you better pray Orgeron behaves himself or you may end up on probation. I have a feeling this was part of the reason he was fired from Ole Miss other than the pathetic record he had as a head coach.
