I'll bump this thread after LSU loses to the Aggies. I'll bump it again after LSU loses the SECCG.

A playoff instead of an invitational tournament? Wow.

Fair enough. I am not confused about my position on the matter. Would you like for me to copy and paste it back to you?

Thank you, but I got it. Glad to see at least some realistic LSU fans that accept 2003 was only a split title.

TCU and USC aren’t without suspect.

Where’s that rule? Yeah, you’re stupid.

You said yourself not all BCS titles are valid. I'm just repeating what you've said.

Totally agree. Tell UGA “ SEC is your quarter final, you lose and you’re out”. Sudden death in December, no mulligans losing right before the playoffs.

Nah. I said that we did not have to beg to be put in a BCS game. We played our way in. I mean, it is kind of simple.

if it was between 12-1 UGA and 12-1 USC? the defending national champs stay home?

Which year did Alabama not play their way in? I must have missed where we got to choose to skip a game.

You should not be selected for the CFP if you can't win your conference championship. How are you in line to be No. 1 in the country when you're not No. 1 in your conference? Or in Tennessee's case, No. 1 in your division?
You know, there should be a rule in this regard. But TPTB always want some wiggle room to put in their favs.

It's well documented how that year still rustles you beyond belief.
What game did we choose to skip that year? Because I don't remember any.

ESPN Playoff predictor
LSU is given a 5% chance. Alabama has a 15% chance. ESPN knows that LSU can't beat UGA.
