Alabama is not the second or first best team in country. A division 2 school put 20 pt on you thugs. If Richardson gets hurt, your through. end of game. It is illogical for a school to not win their conference, much less divison has no business playing in a championship. You know it. Get up off your sisters and cousins and just man up.

People said the '92 Miami team was so much faster than UA and that Bama wouldn't stand a chance playing on turf. That turned out OK.

The game in Tuscaloosa on 11-05 was just a meaningless exhibition game. The one on 01/09 is for the hardware.

It was only deemed meaningless after the final BCS rankings were released. Until then, it meant a whole lot (aside from the whole SEC championship thing).

The Nov game is why you don't have an SEC championship today. It is also the reason the mighty Nick Saban now has a losing record to Les Miles. Now that you've backed in to the NC game arguably over other more deserving teams, yep, it was a meaningless game.

I think you should ask how will this years Alabama team will be remembered if they lose another. The BCS pickings seemed to have worked pitting the 2 best teams against each other. Some will argue that one of the teams doesn't deserve to be there, while most share the opinion that LSU is the best team in the country. Alabama is lucky to get a second chance and has nothing to lose, since they have already lost, at home at that. To be honest, I think Saban would have preferred Ok St to play in the NCG, so as not to be embarrassed twice in one year by the Mad Hatter. When he loses again, how will he be remembered?

That was the best Sugar Bowl besides the Barry Krauss tackle of Mike Gumman(sp?)I have ever been to. This game will be epic, let the chips fall where they do.
