Bama wins by less than 7.

He would make a better RB imp

He has more yards passing, a better QB rating, twice as many passing TD's, better completion percentage, and is only a true freshman compared to Junior Etling....

Jeez it can't get any worse than last week. 57 yards passing.

Saban could have DeShaun Watson as his QB and he would still look like a game manager due to how restrictive the offense is. Jalen Hurts is playing way too passive right now because Saban is getting on his case for every mistake he makes. Hurts is either throwing the ball away too early or taking off and running when his first read isn't open because he's deathly afraid of throwing interceptions. I really don't think that's a good way to develop a QB. Saban needs to trust Hurts to make the right reads and throws. If Hurts makes the right read but ends up throws an interception because his throw is slightly off-target or the defender makes a great play, that's fine. shite happens. Or even if he throws an interception because he read the coverage wrong, just let it go every once in a while. No QB is perfect. But when you have a coach who keeps hammering the point that the QB shouldn't be aggressive trying to make plays because it can lead to mistakes, you get this type of QB play. So I really don't think Hurts should be blamed for how he's been playing over the last couple games as much as Saban's philosophy and how he approaches offense.

I said last week Hurts could lead this team down the field for a game winning drive and I still believe that. The play calling last game was off, but so was Hurts.
Bama will need him this game, I don't think you can just line up and drive the field by running alone.
I thought all season Kiffen was getting him ready for the playoff run with his passing, knowing with his Defense it was not as risky as seemed.
Well that's what I think anyways.

More of that constant need for positive reinforcement by Gumps - this time premature positive reinforcement based on a hypothetical.

that's exactly what it is, Katy.

Anyone could be a half decent QB behind that Oline.

Stop trying to act like Hurts is some great QB. He isn't. He never will be. I doubt he even remains your starter after next year and he may not even start next year. The guy can run. That's the end of his real talent.

Obviously you've never watched him throw... he has problems with accuracy, timing, and finding the right guy... but his throws aren't dead ducks for sure.

Let me be honest bro....

You guys are undefeated, but you are re-matching a Clemson team that is coming in with a sting. I don't think I've seen a determination like that since Oklahoma. Stoops had a vendetta since 2003.

Bama is the favorite. But if ANYbody can beat them, it'll be this Clemson team.

If anything, not this. Jalen is never afraid to get his two turnovers in every game. Seriously, when he has a turnover and the other team doesn't score off of it immediately, I'm actually relieved and think "I'm glad he got that one out of the way."

Dude has ice in his blood. When he fricks up, he still wins.
