Del Rio graduates.

Toney was a high school QB. He would do well at it.

I suspect Corral if he stays in the class would be the guy though. Thomas ran it without actually running a ton at Oregon. Just need enough of a threat to keep the guy the QB reads honest. Franks did run for over 70 yards on a play...the most ridiculous run in CFB history possibly...but still did it

Yes...and Meyer's spread won't work in the mighty SEC either

Did I only say spread offense?? No. I said up-tempo spread offense. Kelly's offense was great at Oregon because of the up-tempo part combined with the spread part (much different than just spread). At the time, up-tempo was unheard of and spread was new. Now, good defenses know how to deal with it because it's common. Meyer didn't use up-tempo at Florida.

Learn football before you try to post a "smart" comment, idiot.

In year 2, almost a certainty. Kirby Dumb wants no part of Kelly.

The Meyer comment refers to the "His offense won't work in the SEC" nonsense. We heard the same thing about Meyer.

Up Tempo has become more popular in CFB, who is the reason for it?

Name ends with Kelly. His offense worked in Philly enough to make the playoffs, but you are right. The mighty SEC defenses are far harder to score on than NFL defenses.

Defenses know how to deal with it? Isn't the number one offense in the country running it? Seems like CFB still hasn't caught up.

The whole key to Kelly's offense is to force "chaos". All centers on the defense making a mistake, despite the fact that the defense knows where the play is going most of the time(where the RB lines up tells you which side, and outside or inside read). The issue defending it is there is no way to add numbers to the play side, without opening up another area of the field. It's why it's so simple, yet works so well.

It's going to struggle if his offensive lineman can't get to the second level on the inside dive. It will struggle if his receivers can't block down field. He still put 27 on LSU, 50 on Tenn, and 455 yards on Auburn. Despite having significantly less talent on his line than the lines he faced.

While his offense may not be new now, doesn't mean it won't work. All depends on the guy calling the plays and the players on the field. It's clearly a good offense. Adding UF talent only makes it stronger. He was 14-6 vs ranked teams at Oregon. So I don't think he does worse at Florida, with far more talent.
