He also only had 319 carries to Henry's 339. McCaffery is the better all around player, and the bigger asset to his team. If the Heisman has any respect left at all, it will go to him.

If, for whatever reason, Henry was sitting at home and Fournette was in his place, with the exact same numbers he put up this year, no one would think McCaffery was more deserving of the Heisman. No one. This melt over Henry is some of the most disingenuous bullshite I've ever seen.

Because Fournette actually has a better YPC than McCaffery. His numbers would be absurd if he had played the extra 2 games Henry has.

Oh, ok.
Damn, this makes me feel bad. I'm not as high on Henry as this guy, so I'm disingenuous.

The only people melting over this are Bama fans who get their panties tied in a knot when you say running the ball 45+ times a game for 150 yards isn't Heisman worthy.

They got so mad when McCaffery out dueled Henry for the final game of the season going for 461 and breaking Barry's record. I don't think they can accept the trophy going to the better all around player

It's not a matter of being high on Henry or not. You're melting because an Alabama player has a chance to win the Heisman and have decided to whiteknight for a guy who's played against far weaker defenses. Just admit it.

Just the word McCaffrey causes them to bite their lip with their tooth.

You should write a letter to all of those idiot writers and former Heisman winners all around the nation who say Henry is better than Fournette as well as the 10 other candidates dou jour. Fact of the matter is that they have seen what happened with their own eyes and also recognize that there are lies. Damned lies and statistics. LF's stats didn't mean squat and you for dogs aren't the only ones who are privy to them. You act like no one else has seen these secret stats. THEY KNOW! And they don't matter. Deal with it. Henry is better.

Let's not act like these former Heisman winners can read. Hell, them getting pounded into retardation is probably why we end up with such shitty heisman voting.

Would, if.

One of the reasons Henry is so much better than booger is that he has literally put this team on his back in the games that mattered the most. The mark of a truly great player. He broke Walkers 34 year old rushing record in less carries. And he played better defenses than McCaffery. I honestly will completely understand if they give it to Mac though, he's a great player.

It's funny that phrase your comment this way, considering the reference to statistics here refers to people using the eyeball test with numbers. That being said, the Heisman is about popularity. I get it that Fournette fell out of favor, and that Henry is playing on the best team.

That is simply what this all boils down to.

That's most years though. You simply can't, on national TV, in the biggest SEC game of the year, as the Heisman favorite have only 31 yards, most of those because of a late turnover, and lose while the opposing RB rushes for over 200 and looks great doing it while running out the last nine plus minutes, and follow that up with consecutive games of less than Heisman numbers while getting blown out, expect to win it.

Henry might not win, it might be Mac, but the big difference is Henry had his Heisman "moment" in the game booger could have Iced it, and booger actually had the opposite of a Heisman "moment" in that game.

Now that the regular season is over and results are in, against what "decent" competition did Henry set the world on fire and look like a far superior back? Seems to me their stats against ole miss and Arkansas were pretty equal, Fournettes were much better against auburn and Florida, and Henry's were a little better against MSU and A&M. Henry had 3 pretty embarrassing performances against pitiful competition.

Fournette had one game with less than 90 yards against the #2 rushing defense in the country, with a garbage OL, no passing game, and missing 2 starting blockers. Alabama played nobody with an even remotely similar situation.

So you're basically saying that Henry deserves the heisman because he didn't have to play against Alabama's front 7? Got it.

Who cares what Henry did against the sisters of the poor?

Ask yourself why booger didn't even get an invite. If you have the capacity for any self honesty you will get the answer the rest of the nation has.

I know exactly why he didn't get invited. Because the spotlight shifted from how good he was to his coach losing his job.
