Listening to the Finebaum show today Finebaum made it sound like Georgia is the greatest team ever and Alabama is steps behind them.. What if Alabama went into the National Championship healthy like they did in the SEC championship and beat Georgia again.. Could you imagine Georgia fans after taking yet another loss to Alabama and Nick Saban? I am not one to make excuses, but it is fun to think about. Georgia deserves it, what Kirby has built in Athens has everyone in Tuscaloosa nervous.

...but here are a butt load of excuses.
The "what if" train is still chugging along in Tuscaloosa.

Yep, Georgia had zero injuries. Only Alabama is allowed to get injured. Makes sense.

I think UGA had coverage issues and couldn't handle Williams. Certainly couldn't handle both Metchie and Williams. So yes, I think Bama wins had they not gotten injured. I think the game would then be very similar to the one in Atlanta. As for Finebaum, let him peddle his rat poison on UGA.

I wish we could move on from that game. We lost..they won..we need to figure out how to beat them this year!

Georgia had zero fresh injuries. Give Bama half a season and they find WRs.

Were Williams and Metchie playing defense as well? Thos darn Freshmen that couldn't do their job at WR for Bama. What were they 4 and 5 stars coming out of high school?

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most of them stink. I think you could throw excuses in there as well.

Georgia could make the excuse of the 2017 CG of the Bama referees giving the game to Bama.

Just move on, it is another season. Bama should worry about Arkansas next week.

Here we go again....more excuses from Bubba Land....whata, coulda, shoulda ad nauseum.

What if....Georgia hadn't had all our players get hurt? What if JTD hadn't got hurt and hadnt' had to replace? Perhaps we would've beaten you worse in the SECCG than we did in the CFPCG, huh?

AlaBubba's gone from crack to crunk!

As you must know, one team plays defense while the other plays offense. Therefore with the better receivers getting first downs keeps UGA's offense off of the field, we would have a different outcome. It isn;t like I am not basing my opinion on an actual game where we all witnessed it. I also think the narrative of UGA being on Bama's level is a facade that will be exposed this year when they encounter the better qb's who can take advantage of their coverage issues. You know, somebody a little better than Bo Nix,

My eyes told me that Bama would have beaten Ga. in the Final with a healthy receiving corp.

Same eyes tell me that uga would curb stomp bama if they played this Saturday.
