If Bama loses the Iron Bowl, do Bama fans even care if Ole Miss wins the EB?

With a loss and no shot at Final Four, does an SEC championship even matter anymore to Bama?

I know Bama losing Iron Bowl is a gigantic "if".

Clemson and Alabama — unlike anyone else — have a little wiggle room should they lose this weekend. A one-loss Tigers team that wins the ACC championship gets into the playoff in 72 percent of the 5,000 simulations we run for our model, and a two-loss Tide team that loses to Auburn but beats Florida gets in 65 percent of the time.

Short answer, we're not losing, but yes.

I'm sorry, but I've been focused on Bama's new director of recruiting.....Les Miles.

Yes. They care. But don't worry, they won't lose.

Bama would go in playoff at 11-2, don't kid yourself.
