Again, you’re the one crying about a serious football board and then you post this shite

What?
Also, how come people keep forgetting that I said that I want both the Rant and a place to be serious?

Saban would disagree.
Look what Deboer's culture has done to the mighty Tide war machine.

I think it’s funny how Aggie is pounding their chest because they are a predicted 11 seed in the playoff. That being before playing LSU, USC, and UT

Correct. you'd trade him for kirby for a lot of things.

Agreed. He’s far exceeded any expectations I had when he was hired, and I’m not just talking about wins and losses. But this is probably a better post for TexAgs.
Unfortunately, actual football conversation is rare on tRant. Nobody here wants to hear anything positive or concrete about a successful Texas A&M program. It’s just not the “culture” of this site. ;)

Culture.
The culture thing takes care of itself if the coach wins, frankly. And it can be an albatross too.
Consider two thoughts:
1. Culture and fit is the reason A&M probably hung onto RC Slocum too long
2. OU may be regretting keeping the Stoops legacy around with the hires of Venables, Littrell, and Finley.
Finally, Sark is a great fit for Texas because he started winning substantially in year 3. Yeah, he says changing the team culture was instrumental, but it's a chicken or egg discussion. Without the wins, he'd be like Billy Napier with all the culture talk and no results to back it up. Harsh but true.

I agree. Same deal with Fisher and Sumlin.
But I think we're winning games we would've lost under Fisher, BG in particular.

There are a subset of A&M fans who get can't help themselves and get way over their skis after a modicum of success that they embarrass their entire fan base.
How about win something of significance before talking shite?

Post all your positive stuff on your team's board. Imagine that.

A little early. You've looked like dog shite most of the time this year.
