As I've said before, Alabama is #1 in the only sport that matters.

You're as myopic and ignorant as they come.

A nation of baseball fans and hundreds of collegiate players in MLB laugh at your ignorance.

I love baseball. Baseball is actually my favorite sport. However, college baseball is pretty irrelevant. I remember college world series games being carried on CBS in the '90s. It's not on national TV anymore. You know why? Because nobody cares about college baseball. They play with alumnium bats which makes it so easy to hit that pretty much half the team is hitting over .300. You don't recognize any of the players and quite frankly, you have no reason to. Only a select few will amount to anything in the future. There's about 112412 tournaments and tournament names. I don't even know the difference between the NCAA tournament and College World Series and I bet 90% of the country doesn't either. You have the elite teams playing one game series with smaller in-state schools for no reason at all. I can go on and on. The only thing good about college baseball is the MLB draft eligibility rule and the NCAA wasn't even responsible for creating that rule. College baseball is barely a notch above women's basketball and lacrosse for me.

Football is most popular in the South, where baseball is popular around the world.

That's true. But let me ask you something. How many college baseball players were born in the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico or Japan or Cuba or Mexico or Venezuela or anywhere outside the U.S.? They're mostly American players. I'm looking at South Carolina's roster right now. Guess how many players were born outside the U.S? Zero. None. Nada. And South Carolina is supposed to be one of the best college baseball teams in the country. So I don't understand how baseball being popular around the world has anything to do with the relevance of college baseball.

Maybe football only matters at Alabama, but some schools actually excel in multiple sports. I know that's a hard concept for most Bama fans to grasp.
See LSU's series record against Bama in all 3 major sports...

Well sometimes I root for the football team because of Peterson, and baseball because of Dean. I'm sure you can figure out why.

Apparently not. Who cares if CBS or ESPN carries the games? They're equals. And who cares if there isn't any foriegners on college teams? Alabama's team is less of a baseball team because no foriegners are on it? It would be a little difficult for college coaches to fly to Cuba and offer scholarships.

Baseball is baseball. Either you like it or you fukn don't.
