I wonder if the SEC East wants to reseed the SEC Champ Game like

they wanted to reseed the SEC tourney in basketball?
Last spring they were complaining that the SEC East did so well against the West that they should just count the SEC as a whole when picking the tourney seeds. The East didn't want any of the SEC West teams getting high seedings.
If the SEC did that for the SEC Championship Game, it would be Auburn vs Arkansas and South Carolina wouldn't be close to appearing in it.

I wasn't picking on USC specifically. It's fine by me, but we shouldn't have to hear anymore of that whining that the SEC EAST teams were doing last year.

Yeah. Every year is different.
Saban changed the SEC West, in my opinion. He really opened up the arms race.

I would be fine with eliminating divisions. Having 3 loss teams in the SECCG and NIT teams getting byes over Top 15 teams in basketball are equally bad.

If we don't have divisions then there would be no need for a championship game.

Yeah, shut up with that - MSU gets their chance to prove themselves against us next year. That'll all be settled on the field. I'm guessing we won't be hearing too many cowbells come quarter 4.
