We have a stout stable of RB's. Lacy is no better than Ware. . .or Ford

You guys took Lacy because you guys were desperate and willing to take a risk on a borderline guy,

Bama had a commitment from Trent Richardson, they weren't desperate for a RB.

They had the luxury of taking a chance on Lacy...

Did Sugarhog get a ban or did Sao get rid of him with the Porsche boom?

Lacy is good, TR is better. I would take Ware over Lacy and not sure about TR.

I dunno. When PP7 hit Trent Richardson and spun him around at the goaline, it reminded me of Big Cat Drills and Spencer Ware was a beast the last time I saw him doing those

You don't have to wonder ... Lacy was an academic risk that LSU was not willing to take. Had he stayed home to play, who's to say he wouldn't have flunked out by now? Leaving the state was probably best for him, and I hope he has a nice career, just not at LSU's expense.

You needed more than one RB.

You guys were desperate at the time, no doubt.

Yes, but not a elite one.

Bama turned down quite a few sure fire qualifiers in favor of Lacy.

The only thing I have no doubt about is that you don't know what you are talking about.

Bama took Lacy because they could afford to, not because they were desperate for a RB...

This thread has me laughing my arse off. Couple of corrections though.
1. Tduecen, ware.'s timed 40 was after a tweaked hamstring.
He came to LSU in summer of 09 and out performed dyer, lache, and Lattimore at our camp. So we offered.

2. Of course people are gonna pick Lacey because he has seen more time in games. Now that said I believe there is no question which one will end up better. Ware is an absolute monster when he gets going. Lacey may have Richardson ahead of him , but I am about to be biased and homerish as he'll. I'd take Ware over Richardson. Everyone is soon gonna learn why.

Ware is the real deal.

I wouldn't laugh.

I think after all is said and done, Ware will be considered at least on the same level as TR.

Maybe so but Ware just isn't as proven as Richardson is

Ware was a freshman buried on the chart last season.

So, yeah.

and his fasted listed 40 time is 4.5.... not exactly slow but Lacy still posted a 4.4 in the 40....

So the posters earlier saying Lacy is "slow" are sadly mistaken
