So McNeese State and A&M are better? Those are the only 2 games he got 5 or more carries.
yes, A&M is better than Georgia State and San Jose State.
i don't give a frick what Ware did against McNeese, he dominated A&M after practicing with the 1st team.
the only real game either did shite in was the bowl game IMO. The stats from last year don't show who is going to be better this year. Ware looks incredible and is going to be a great receiver out the backfield as well

Ware had one good game against A&M and all of a sudden he played against better competition.
41% of Lacy's carries came against good competition
63% of Ware's came against good competition

I wasn't talking about those games, I'm talking about Duke and Michigan State, in which Lacy got atleast 5 carries as the 3rd string tailback.
Those 2 > The 2 Ware had atleast 5 carries
Posted on 4/17/11 at 11:34 pm to MagillaGuerilla
see above post
and McNeese could probably beat duke

McNeese State is "good competition" now? Because he had 20% of his carries in that game.

i didn't count McNeese
100%-20% =/ 63%

That is shite and you know it, it is skewed because Ware has 24 career carries to Lacy's 56.
Lacy's 5 carry, 86 yard, 17.2 YPC, and 2 TDs as a 3rd string back vs. Michigan State > Ware's 10 carry, 102 yard, 10.2 YPC, and 0 TDs against A&M

Well than you didn't count 20% of Ware's carries for the year. Also, Ware had his best game (10 carries for 102 yds) against A&M which had the 50th ranked defense. Lacy had 5 carries for 86 yds. against the 31st ranked defense in Michigan State.

def, but Lacy's numbers are inflated by Georgia State and San Jose State. That is the point

meh. I'm not even sure Lacy was touched on his 62 yard td run.
One could argue that Ware's was more impressive because he was able to dominate over a larger number of carries in the game.
quote:
Spencer Ware rush for 11 yards to the TexAM 27 for a 1ST down.
Spencer Ware rush for 24 yards to the TexAM 23 for a 1ST down.
Spencer Ware rush for 26 yards to the TexAM 35 for a 1ST down.
Spencer Ware rush for 5 yards to the LSU 19.
Jordan Jefferson pass complete to Spencer Ware for 5 yards to the LSU 24 for a 1ST down.
Jordan Jefferson pass complete to Spencer Ware for 12 yards to the TexAM 47 for a 1ST down.
Spencer Ware rush for 18 yards to the TexAM 29 for a 1ST down.
Spencer Ware rush for 6 yards to the TexAM 22.
Spencer Ware rush for 4 yards to the TexAM 33.
Spencer Ware rush for 4 yards to the TexAM 9.
Spencer Ware rush for 3 yards to the TexAM 37.
His worse run of the game was 3 yards and he also had 2 receptions (both for 1st downs)

Duke and Michigan state? Michigan state is about the same as Playing Mississippi State or texas Tech.
Also Magilla, I would like to point out that Ware obliterated A&M LB Von Miller the entire game. One several runs, he ran right over him. In one instance he sent him flying back 3 yards.

WTF are you talking about?
I took the 2's SEC competition + bowl game
I added Penn State for Lacy since they are a good team.
I subtracted the carries against the bad teams and divided it by the total number of carries
Do you understand what I did? Your posts make it seem like its beyond your intellectual comprehension

Don't act like Big12 defenses aren't jokes either

And Lacy broke tackles from Greg Jones, one of the best MLBs in college, in the Outback Bowl.

Are you trying to sell Lacy? Throw in Richardson too and you may get Ford.
LSU fans are content with Ware and Ford. You can keep Lacy. You can argue all you want, but I think we are fairly happy with the stable of backs we have headed into next season.

Big 12 at least has numerous offenses. Big 10 doesn't have either. Michigan state was a terrible team.
It's futile to argue this right now, let's revisit it in 2 years when both are starting. By then Ware will have had a full year of starting in the SEC(that's if he stays healthy)

A&M played the #6,7,11,13,and 15th offenses in the country. They're season average was against the 38th offense
MSU played the #9,21,41,41, and 52nd offenses in the country. They're season average was against the 57th offense.

No, LSU fans are trying to sell Ware, who has done much less.

Ford wouldn't even take reps from Corey Grant.

Good for you, let me know when they actually accomplish something...

Which SEC games for Ware? Because Ware had carries against Vandy, Ole Miss, AU, and Bama. Those carries produced a whopping 30 yds with 17 yds coming on one play against Ole Miss.
Lacy had 12 carries for 55 yds against SEC competition.
