LSU Baseball and Alabama Football are going in two completely different directions
To be fair, baseball teams can have a slump and lose several games and still have a chance to regroup and go on a run and have a chance to win a championship.
In football 2 bad games can doom all chances at a championship.
If a 2 loss season is considered a bad season, sign me up. That will change soon though with the expanded playoffs.

Do you want to go over all the other evidence that nobody gives a shite about it?
Sure, lay it out.
Wont change the fact that the numbers have shown that contrary to what most idiots here say, people do care about it and tune in.

yeah the fact that most college baseball programs lose money certainly shows people are interested in it

So the 2 million viewers don’t count?

Of course not. The viewers that watched the game mean that noone watched the game, duh.

Some actual numbers would help your argument.
And if we are going to demand that college sports turn a profit to exist there are going to be few viewing options. Lots of football; some men’s basketball, and four or five college baseball teams. Close to the same number of women’s basketball teams. Sorry girls, have y’all looked into JV sports?
Prove me wrong with actual numbers.

People watch semifinals and finals. The women’s college basketball finals way outdrew this. Does that mean people care about women college basketball?

And Caitlyn Clark and Paul Skenes -- two generational talents -- are pumping the numbers up for both sports.

Yes, they do. Not like football or men’s basketball, but yes. Is this your argument?

I never said that. Doesn’t mean people care though. Quick google search shows this from 2017, but it’s not rocket science to know baseball doesn’t make money for most schools. Only 4 SEC schools turned a profit. What do you think happened to the small school?

Hes flopping on the deck now.
Yes people care about women's basketball. Not to the extent of men's or football, but its pretty popular. I hate it, but I know that a lot of people actually love that shite (for some reason).
Just because they outdrew college baseball doesnt mean nobody watches college baseball.
Just like how college baseball outdrew all of MLB this year, doesnt mean nobody watches MLB.

Jesus you’re an idiot.

I think the proper conclusion is that people no longer give a shite about baseball at any level.

Still no numbers. But here are some.
Record Viewership For Women’s Finals; Men’s Down
I am just a dumb redneck, but 12.6 million people is a lot of people.
Again, numbers will help your emotional argument.

You’d fare a lot better in this argument if you didn’t resort to such extremes. Literally no one has ever compared college baseball to or put it in the same sphere as college basketball or football. So to frame your arguments with those two as your benchmark is, quite frankly, stupid and/or disingenuous. It’s also disingenuous to say “no one” cares, especially in this part of the country. I also don’t know what exactly you stand to gain by telling people how many people care about a sport. A lot of people enjoy it and it makes them happy. Does that bother you for some reason? Do you think telling them “no one cares” is somehow going to make them feel bad about liking it?
