Georgia would probably give Notre Dame more problems since they have more offensive weapons and can be multiple.

UF wouldn't stand a chance right now. I don't understand why some people think Florida is a good team right now. Are you simply basing this off of the BCS rankings?

Tailor made for us...I would hope they think they can line up and run it straight ahead.

Who says we are not multiple? Hell we throw it more than we run it and we bombed our way back into the Aggie game in the fourth quarter. We are better suited to run it true but give our WR's the time off to get healthy then put 8 in the box and see what happens.

I feel sorry for any treasured statues, monuments, or trees in South Bend. Who knows what Touchdown Jesus could end up looking like if ND wins this one.

Let's take care of the Barn and then GA and worry about the next one later. Saban will have a great game plan for whoever we meet in January.

It would be pretty effing hilarious if ND lost to USC and then the whole country had to witness another all SEC national championship.

The bitching and moaning would make the offseason bearable.

It would be very much like the Capital One bowl against Michigan State.

Notre Dame is 2-10 in their last 12 bowl games/postseason appearances. Just a tidbit that I liked.

I think Notre Dame matches up fairly well with Alabama. The strength of their defense (which is very good) is in their front 7. I think they can seriously slow or hinder Alabama's rushing attack. Their defense also is pretty good about getting a lot of pressure and sacks on the quarterback.

Golson is a weak link for them, but he has been improving. He's also very quick and agile which could give the Alabama defense some trouble.

The Notre Dame tight end (Eifert) would be a huge miss match for the Alabama secondary. He could have a huge day if Sunseri was covering him. Also, their running back (Riddick) was a former receiver, so you really never know where he could lineup.

Give Saban that much time to prepare is difficult for any opposing team, but Brian Kelly isn't exactly chopped liver.

I'm not saying Notre Dame will win, but I'm not exactly saying they'll lose either. Alabama hasn't really impressed me in the Ole Miss, LSU, and Texas A&M games so I think it would be a good game. If I had to bet on it...

Alabama - 21
Notre Dame - 13
