Eye ball test also says ND is scary good and better than both and add Texas to that as well. Both of those teams would drag JMU and Tulane. If it truly is take the best 12 - then the system is flawed.

I don’t think BYU got screwed. Lost twice to TT, a playoff team, and it was not close. Think we can conclude that BYU is not better than TT.
At least Bama split with UGA, but such a poor showing was not a good look. Lose by 9 points and no one cares.
ND has a legit gripe. They are better than probably half of the playoff teams. And I hate ND.

Bama deserved to be in.
Sometimes a loss can help a team regain focus.
OSU losing to Michigan turned out to be a good thing for them last year, imo.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bama make a run...

I’m convinced that the sport kind of craves an antagonist and that during the Saban run fans latched onto Bama that way.
So now even now post Dynasty they’ll hate watch Bama like people do with the Cowboys and Yankees.

People should be mad at the powers that be that caved and allowed these teams access in the first place
Just go to 4 16 team conferences and tell the rest to kick rocks….and that goes for Notre Dame too if they decide to stay independent.

I agree.
The issue is two deserving and no question better teams will be left out for teams that couldn’t beat the cellar of the SEC on their best day.
