The state is so varied depending what part you are in, we could fit in most conferences. It's a blessing and a curse in this age of conference expansion.
The only reason why i like Mizzou in the SEC is because now I can say I live in SEC Country. I hope they move Mizzou to the West when the next expansion happens

People in this state get to be exposed to some REAL college football.

Do you love the trailer-trashiness and meth addiction of the Deep South but hate the white sand beaches, the culture, charm, and gentility? Can't get enough of that Northern bone-crushing cold but are sick and tired of the amenities and living near a major media outlet?
Give MO a try! Missouri - It's the worst of both worlds!

Are there any arkytards on the rant who haven't posted in this thread? If so, tell them that they're missing out on all the fun.
Corn. Modern day mason Dixon line.
Y'all are funny idiots!
Out of 17 States that grow cotton, Missouri ranks 9th in production and 3rd in total yield, meaning we produce some of the highest quality cotton in the country.
Missouri produces some of the highest quality tobacco, beating the quality of other more well known tobacco states such as Virginia.
And, we lead in cotton and tobacco production compared to all States that grow food crops like corn, soybeans, wheat, etc.
Essentially, Missouri can be self sufficient if we ever need to be. We can easily grow our own food and livestock's food. And, we can grow some of the highest quality cotton and tobacco for miscellaneous needs.
Some other states can't make that claim.
I thought I'd get randy for a moment...

Other things MO leads in:
Missouri State Patrol says Missouri had 1,980 “incidents’ in 2010. Tennessee finished second with 1,197. Kentucky had the third worst record, 1,045 busts. Can anyone guess what I'm talking about.....

I went to Omaha and I know twice as much about corn as I did before. Did you know they plant feed corn around the edges to keep people from stealing the good corn? I did not know that. That's how they keep people from stealing their corn.
Corn.
Corn.

Plant corn to keep people from stealing corn hmmmm. I think I might strap some Geo Metros to the sides of my truck so no one will ever try to steal it.
Posted on 6/19/12 at 10:08 pm to mizzoukills
You already knew that.

An ear of corn averages 800 kernels in 16 rows. Who knew corn could be so interesting?!
