Yes, I'm bitter, I'm still mourning after Saturday's game.

Buck Futler!

Congrats KY, you guys are playing great, and it is all Jorts. He owned Sullinger, and he dominated on Sunday. Who would have thunk?

We didn't lose because of the refs, but they KILLED our momentum, and they were completely awful in the last 7 minutes of regulation. We should have won anyways, but we laid a collective TEAM egg. From Billy, to Chandler, to Walker, it was ugly.

Yes, I'm in pain, basketball is first for me.

Florida is back though. Next year we should be pretty good. Beal is for real, Patrick will be a beast, and Rosario with our guards will be a sick backcourt. If Murphy progresses, and Larson gives us what I expect him to give us, we will be good.

Go Gators!

Second half? When we were having our way with them, and they were down 10?
They couldn't do anything about Macklin, but then they got them in foul trouble. And the whole thing about no players fouled out all year resulted in Macklin letting them take uncontested lay ups at the end of regulation. He became a liability.

Last 3 minutes of regulation we did suck. Last 3 minutes of OT we did suck. Should have not mattered tough.

Yes, I'm bitter. And barner,

We sucked and I'm glad you're not blaming it on the refs. You should never, ever, ever blame a game on the refs because there was plays that could have been made during the game to win.

I agree we should be solid again next year, but it won't be a run like this year.

I'm proud of our boys this year for overachieving, but I wish Donovan would have saved his best coaching performance for our last game.

To me, the blame lies with Donovan at the end of regulation. There is no way that with 30 seconds left that is the best shot you could get. Boynton or Parsons should have had the ball and driven to the goal. Pull up jumper, lay up, or foul are all better possibilities than a contested 3 pointer. Terrible play calling.

You never know.

I would have not expected to be SEC champs, tourney runner up, and Elite 8 from this group. The seniors are soft, and Macklin and Tyus don't have good hands. Chandler decided to be tired, and have an off game on Saturday. Walker suffered from the I can win this thing on my own again, something I thought he was over. We went away from the team concept in the end of regulation and OT, and it was our doom. I think our guys got a little frustrated, and they were tired from their OT win on Thursday. They looked tired.

Winning the NCAA takes a lot of luck.

What will happen next year? I think we will have the talent to make a run, will it happen? Who the hell can know? Who would have thought this year's KY would do better than last year?

Especially when you have a timeout, and they have been weak right in the middle of the defense the entire game. I cannot tell you how many times in that game Boynton dribble drove to the middle in the paint and got an easy runner. It was/is inexcusable by Donovan.

there were a couple times when UF could have finished them but didn't. There was a point where UF was up 7 and had possession like 4 straight attempts at scoring and could only get 1 point to increase to 8. When UF didn't I thought Butler would come back.

The two chances at end of regulation and ot were not well coached out or well planned IMO, if anything that is where some blame maybe should go

Baseball- , but thanks for trying to cheer me up cocky

The basketball program is back where they belong tough, that much is clear. Second tier elite program, great coach, recruiting going well, and the kids seem to be buying in for the most part.

It's Great to be a Florida Gator!

Yes, Billy D is great, made some mistakes Saturday, but that will only make him better in the future.

I was cussing like crazy the last couple minutes. The refs had a hand in it but the play calling at the end was AWFUL. I was so mad at Donnovan I couldnt see straight. That shot selection was pure dumbpidity as well.

It's alright though, like was said in the OP, y'all will be tough as nails again next year. Bama is gonna be ready next year though.
