I'm not as big a McElwain fan as some may be. I do think some of the conservative play is due to Saban's philosophy.
Homer Smith had low scoring ball control offenses under Stallings, and we all know that wasn't his style.
If Alabama ever has a QB and offense that makes Bench happy, look out.
