Good QBs have good mechanics, but
To be great, the QB needs to be able to throw off balance. IF all the QB can do is drop, setup, deliver, it all falls apart under pressure. Being able to alter the arm angle, throw off 2,1 or no feet, and zip it in or make it fall from sky are all things these guys work on.
Bradshaw said it best, “learn to throw off your back foot or you will die”
Mahommes can sling the ball from almost any platform, arm angle, one foot, 2 feet, no feet, etc
