I said it when Kirby Smart got the job that he would be the one to retire Saban into the sunset.

He was Saban’s longest tenured disciple during the BAMA glory years, he’s a Defensive Guru, great recruiter, went back to his old school that sits in a state full of talent. Many schools have plucked tons of talent out of Georgia for a long time & now he will keep more of the ones he wants more than ever.

Early on, he just couldn’t break the seal & had that boneheaded call on the fake punt at midfield years back against BAMA when the defense was playing lights out, should have pinned BAMA inside the 10 and seen what happened.

He’s got the next dynasty built and rolling!

I’m an LSU fan 1st, but UGA is like an adopted team for me spending a lot time out there for the past 5 years, happy to see them winning like this! Just need LSU to become the West rival and we good.
