27 tackles (12 for loss, 7 sacks), 1 forced fumble (returned for a TD)
That's not even close to impressive.

2 blowouts in half a season = competitive?

We had 2 guys against bama with over half that many tackles so i guess i just don't find his numbers overwhelming

Does your entire team have 7 sacks?

Not really. Nkemdiche and Prewitt had high numbers against Bama alone.

4-0 in the swac makes the leghumpers competitive?

Ole Miss seems to be buying into Freeze's program. If they continue to play with the intensity that they have shown, they will improve as a team. Im not saying theyll win SEC championship or anything but theyll be more competitive than they have been.

yeah we can't do any better

16th SEC loss in a row comes tomorrow, I think. I hope that isn't too depressing.

So you're bragging about your 2nd and 3rd level having as many tackles as their DE?

12 TFLs and 7 sacks are good stats for a season let alone 5 games. not even close to impressive!!1

Yes. Yes I am. Seems like the SEC is pretty impressed too.
So far he's got 32 solo, 6 tfl, and 3 ff, and 2 sacks(both against the best offensive line in the nation.. All while being all of 5'10 200 lb starting linebacker in the SEC. SEC defensive player of the week too.

You are talking about a linebacker. They are talking about a D end. The d end already has pro worthy stats. Your lb isn't even close. Try to make more sense, bub.

15 tackles in one game > 27 in 5 games.. no matter what position

The linebacker in question is barely big enough to be a corner. He sacked McCarron twice. aTm hasn't played a team with a line close to that. Hell, Driskel accounted for 3+ sacks by misreading read options.

It wouldn't be a sack if it was a read option. We had 8 sacks against UF.
